This new version Ridgeline Monsoon II Classic Smock, like the original, is totally waterproof, reassuringly durable and completely windproof. This latest version, however, offers a massive leap in terms of 'breathability' with improved Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate - which in non technical terms means that when working hard outdoors this Ridgeline jacket tackles that uncomfortable clammy feeling. Constructed from brushed polyester with a durable water-repellent finish that offers protection, durability and tear-resistance. The rugged, half-length front zip has chunky zip-pullers are easy to use even whilst wearing gloves and a popper-fastened storm flap keeps out the worst of the weather. Essentials can be stored in the large, flap-protected chest pocket and hands can be warmed in the two zipped lower pockets. The adjustable wired hood protects from harsh, windy conditions and can be rolled away in the collar when not in use. The cuffs are adjustable and can be rolled up when warm and cinched tight when cold - plus there's an adjustable drawcord at the waist to alter the fit, and seal in the warmth.
